Lizzy was recently talking about Quinn’s patience in a reply. I think this calls for a couple of gif sets. One showing Quinn’s patience; one showing the lack of it. Or one showing both in contrast. I can think of so many scenes! Have fun, gif makers! And as always, thanks for all you do! 😘
Yes, Anon, I constantly think about every aspect of Quinn’s persona and when it comes to being patient it really would depend on his task at hand.
There were times when Quinn showed a ton of patience…
Patiently waiting to kill Brody whilst enjoying some canned fish
Waiting to stick one on Cedeno’s car
Patient with a panicked Saul
Acting “Cool Kid” Sitter
There were times, however, when our boy ran out of patience…
I am very excited as I am off to New York next week for a one week visit. I know chances are slim but I am hoping for a Rupert sighting on the streets. I think some of you are from New York and you have posted some recommendations of things to do. Any suggestions, there is group of 6 women going for a 50th birthday celebration. Sadly I am the only Rupert fan.
Yay! A girls weekend in NYC, so much fun. I do live in New York, in Brooklyn actually and Sydney has frequented NYC many times -we recently had a girls weekend with others back in April!
Here are some suggestions for group fun (that may or may not include a RF sighting!)
Theater – Dinner before and drinks after, seeing theater in New York is a true staple of any visit. Apps like “Today Tix” offer discounted theater tickets and the deals can be even sweeter day of. Plays like The Ferryman and Hillary and Clinton have tickets as cheap as $49.
Wine Tasting and Good Eats – So much fun for a group no matter what size. The great part about wine tasting in the city is you won’t have to drive anywhere after! City Winery downtown offers wine tasting and tours of their winery 7 days a week at 4pm, I’ve
done this before and had a blast – they also have awesome food and occasional music. Another great place that does wine classes is Otto Pizzeria in Greenwich Village, the food there is amazing too.
– Ok, not sure what you ladies are up for but one of the most truly awesome times I’ve had in NYC was a tour/private party of Babeland. Babeland is sex-positive store for those (especially women) wanting to explore their
sexuality without worrying about intimidation. It’s sophisticated and high-end and truly has something for everyone.
There are also countless museums, tours, bar crawls and oodles of things to do in this amazing city. Try sites like Time Out New York (timeout.com) – this site offers a bevy of things to do in the city in all different price ranges. From food and bars to real-time events, you can find anything on this site.
If you want to try something Rupert-centric, we know he once frequented an Italian restaurant on Bond Street called il Buco, I’ve never been but it looks amazing so if you wanted to have dinner there to walk the tile floor RF once did, go for it! 😉
This blog is incredible! My question is whether there is a support group for spouses/partners of your followers. Keep up the great work!
Excellent Ask, Anon! And, yes, we just happen to know of a wonderful support group/site that would be perfect for your spouse/partner with loads of helpful advice. It’s called Partners of Rupert Friend Addicts Anonymous.
My heart literally stop reading your post. They're not really going to kill Ernest, are they? Seeing that water Gif now…Oh no! My hear isn't done mourning Quinn, I don't want to mourn another great character. And Ernest is great! He adds so much to the show. Oh, I so hope they don't kill me. You girls know anything else about this?
Be still my beating heart It would be better to be cool It’s not time to be open just yet A lesson once learned is so hard to Forget
I sink like a stone that’s been thrown in the ocean My logic has drowned in a sea of emotion Stop before you start Be still my beating heart
Sting gave us the perfect lyrics for our fearful moments.
We have no information other than what we have already posted. But the look in his eyes in this gif here still gets us a little worried sometimes.
OMG Sydney, you & I had exact same experience w/ P&P mini-series vs the movie! The mini-series is my all time fave. Bought DVD when first came out & now it's in my phone. It was perfection, except for their Wickham. He was just too ugly! And I never cared for the way he portrayed Wickham. How on Earth all those girls fell in love with this guy?! Just not believable! Then it came Rupert. Didn't know him, but he was just perfect! And boy he could portray W, the hot soldier with deceitful charm! 😍
Yes, I think we can all understand Elizabeth’s attraction to Rupert’s version of Wickham! In fact, Frangi and I were even trying to convince our Pride and Prejudice fanfic writing friends that Wickham is just misunderstood and the actual true hero of the story. But, they didn’t buy it for some reason. So, our lovely Frangi decided to take matters into her own brilliant story-telling hands, changed her pseudonym to MrsWickham, and wrote this very sexy P&P fanfic all about Wickham. (I wonder who she had in mind when she wrote this. 🤔 )
