I kid you not, but October 10th is actually "Take Your Teddy Bear to Work Day". By any chance, could that episode of HL where we see the two Teddy bears on Saul's chair (we talked about it recently) have been filmed on October 10th? Maybe someone on the set knew this, and quietly placed it in Saul's office. Yes, I'm going with this theory.
I’m not sure about the Saul scenes, but Rupert apparently celebrates this holiday — he brought Rupert Bear for each season of Homeland.
